Friday the 13th Knights and Warriors
On Friday the 13th in the year 1307 the king of France ordered the arrest of the Knights Templar, one of the most powerful groups of warriors ever to walk the planet. Many were eventualy burned at the stake for heresy, blasphemy and crimes against the church and state, betrayed by those fearing their influence. Many think this was the beginning of the Friday the 13th superstitions.

It was around 6:00am on May 17th when the alarm clocks of fighters from all across New England started to buzz. They were waking up to drive to Westerly, RI to fight in the College MMA Challenge and Live the Legend US MMA Open tournament at Paddys Beach. But that’s not all, they were also going there to meet the legendary Royce Gracie, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Master and MMA superstar.
